** Professional CFA Tutor: Levels I, II, III + IMC Tutor: Unit 1, Unit 2 ** Congratulations on working towards becoming a CFA chaterholder. You are enthusiastic about your career and are planning ahead by deciding to add value to yourself. Whether you pass or not, you are already taking a step in the right direction, towards further development. Of course it’s always better to pass and that is where I come in to coach you throughout the process. Hello, my name is Chirag and I have successfully passed all 3 levels of the exams and have attained the CFA charter. I am a tutor for the CFA Level I Dec 2014, CFA Level II June 2015 and CFA Level III June 2015 exams. Professionally, I have been working in financial services industry for over a decade. I worked on Wall Street with 2 of the top 3 investment banks for over 5 years and have progressed on to work in London for over 3 years. Like most people taking the exam, working unpredictable and long hours in the financial sector did not leave me with much time to study for the exams, so I had to be wise about how I allocated my personal time towards studying. That is exactly the kind of valuable information that I look forward to sharing with you. I understand that having an excellent work and/or academic background does not directly imply that one can teach at a similar level. Keeping that fact in mind, I have been fortunate enough to provide training sessions across various levels, subject matters and types of students, ranging from University Graduates (Bs., Ms., MBA, PhDs) to working professionals. This includes a blend of exam related training and non-exam based training for specific projects, tasks and technical jobs. I have done this for several years and have been able to zone in on candidates specific weaknesses and turn them in to strengths for a game changing result. This helps candidates build on their understanding and attack problems with a higher degree of comfort and confidence. This year I am focused on training candidates for the CFA Level I Dec 2014, CFA Level I Jun 2015, CFA Level II June 2015 and CFA Level III June 2015 exams. I also train IMC candidates sitting for the Unit 1 and Unit 2 exams. As you are aware, the CFA exam is relatively inexpensive when compared to several alternate academic qualifications and offers better ‘value for money.’ However, do not be fooled by the price tag because the biggest cost to you is the amount of time taken away from spending it with your loved ones and instead invested in studying for these fine exams. I want to make sure that your time is worth it. Thank you for your consideration and best of luck.

FAQs: Q: What is your training style? A: My training style is very interactive, to ensure that delegates remain motivated, engaged and maximise their learning experience. Where possible, I bring in real world examples from both my past experiences and current events. I provide clear and concise explanation and I am very competent on the subjects that I selectively choose to advise on. I also genuinely care about my students. Q: How are you different from the other s? A: Every will have their own style of teaching. I focus on highly adapting the meetings towards your specific needs. This goes well beyond the flexibility of choosing a location and a convenient time. It involves looking at your study strategy from a 360 view and considers the hidden challenges that you individually face that one only becomes aware of by the time its’ too late. Q: How are you different from the other well reputed larger organisations? A: In the past, when I could not find a reliable , I was left with no choice but to go to the large classroom sessions of the big and reputable training companies, such as Kaplan, Fitch, BPP, etc. Those sessions did of course help and were one of the many factors that contributed towards my success. However, they were not the best value for money and to my surprise, were not the largest contributing factor. I say this because the classes were simply not tailored to my needs. The lack of one-to-one time and the one size fits all solutions just did not work for me. As a result, I often found myself waiting in queues at the end of class to run clarifying questions by the instructors. To which the response was often “I’ll get back to you on that.” or “Can you send an email to the mail group and one of the other instructors or fellow peer students will respond back to you.” This does not mean that good training cannot be attained through these businesses. What it does mean is that the training provided might not be suited for everyone and that there are better options available. Q: What kinds of materials do you use? A: We can use either your own materials or mine depending on the subject matter involved. Q: What method of communication do you use? A: Most of the time I face to face. However, in certain circumstances I can online via Skype and Whiteboard as well. Q: Where do we meet? A: You tell me where you want to have your class - Any third party location such as your office conference room before/after work, or at a coffee shop on the weekend, or even the local library. Why do we do this? To save on overhead costs - which saves you both money and time due to the hassle of traffic, looking for parking, etc. Please note that I do not travel to candidates` homes for tuition. Q: How much does this cost? A: The rates are between £60 and £90 per hour per person, depending on the subject of interest, number of scheduled hours and the time of the year. I encourage you to book the sessions early so that you can lock in better rates and availabilities in advance of your exams. These rates are effective from July 1, 2014 and I am happy to discuss your situation on a case-by-case basis. Q: When do your classes begin? A: CFA Level I Dec 2014, IMC Unit 1 and IMC Unit 2: Accepting students now and on a rolling basis. Please call to inquire. CFA Level I June 2015, CFA Level II June 2015 and CFA Level III June 2015 will begin in December 2014. Q: How do I contact you? A: Please follow the instructions provided on this website or email me at CFAtutor@outlook.com.
