Alasdair M.
Private tutor in London, United Kingdom
Education
Currently an MSc. student, studying Applied Mathematics at Imperial College London. Recently graduated with a 1st class BSc. in physics from King's College London. For completeness, my A level grades were A*'s in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and an A in History.
Experience
This is an American site, so in the 'subjects' section they don't have GCSE and A level, it seems (only their American equivalents). So, I thought I would list the subjects that I can tutor in here. I can tutor in Mathematics and Physics at both GCSE and A level (and equivalently IB). Experience: - Previously tutored students for GCSE and A level mathematics. Motivations for tutoring: - I find teaching to be very personally fulfilling! - Helps me continue to improve my ability to explain things in an understandable way, a very important skill for someone with ambitions of working in academia.

Hobbies
My interests are fairly wide ranging. I play and follow a pretty large number of different sports: golf, tennis, football, cricket and squash, amongst others. I love to travel, and do so at every opportunity I get. I'm interested in history, art, food and wine, so this tends to dictate where I travel to. I'm also interested in finance, and have, at times, flirted with the idea of working in this area. However, at the moment I am carrying on doing the things that I enjoy the most, maths and physics.
