Short Profile I am a Burundi national. I finished my academic studies at the University of Burundi within the Educational Sciences Faculty and I hold a “Licence” (BA+2 years) degree and majors in French-English Teaching option. Later on, I worked for specialization in Teaching English as a Foreign Language Techniques (TEFL) at Colchester in U.K. (1979-1980) and Supervisory Skills Competence in South Carolina University U.S.A (1986). I have a long experience in public administration, management of NGOs and projects. I spent the last 12 years as a technician in behavior change communication and advocacy targeting the fight against HIV / AIDS, promoting gender, human rights and working with grassroots communities. I received International Trainers’ Training in Gender, Population and Development in Tunisia; I am a Field Officer in Human Rights trained by The Geneva Security Centre and I attended a full training in participatory techniques for program development and community projects focusing on Reproductive Health with UNFPA. I translated documents for UN Organizations, public and private companies together with individual requests.
