Currently interrupting my medical studies to undertake a PhD in Convergence Science and Cancer Research at Imperial College London. BSc (Hons) First Class in Biomedical Engineering. Experience
Previously tutored a tenth grader in Math and a 12th grader in Biology. Tutoring is a way for me, at this age, to give back to the community. It gives me a sudden bolt of excitement every time I see someone improve their skills and I had a factor in it. I seek satisfaction in helping other learn and grow: satisfaction that someone is now a tat smarter, which suggests they have potential for greatness, which they may reach one day. Have won 13 Academic Subject Awards in four years of high school which are given to the best student in that subject in their year/grade. SAT Score: 1460/1600 I completed a one-week internship at the orthopaedics section at my local hospital, in preparation for my medicine studies. To leave one final impression I would like to quote my chemistry teacher in his UCAS reference for me: "Aryan often approaches understanding in a way different from the teacher, and this makes him a unique resource for the students who are struggling to understand the material presented by his teacher."
