I'm currently on a gap year and will be in university next year studying Economics at LSE hopefully. At college, I'm predicted 4A*s, which is the highest mark at A Level. I was born in the UK, so have a native fluency in English, but an Ethnically Chinese so have proficiency in Mandarin. Currently, I'm at BLCU studying Mandarin and look to pursue the HSK level 5.
Experience
I have taught in a primary school part-time for about a year teaching English and also part-time tutored Mathematics for also about a year to 16 year olds. Why do I want to be a tutor? That's because other than my tutee who learns more, I love learning more about the subject I'm teaching. The more I teach the more in-depth my knowledge gets into the subject. Other experiences: I've worked in an Investment Bank (Societe Generale), Consultancy (EY ), Think Thank (Adam Smith Institute) and ran a company before (Nova Clothes). I suppose these experiences makes me well versed in terms of managing time and also managing people.
