I am a PhD student at the Imperial College Business School in London studying Health Economics. I recently graduated from Rice University with an MSc in Bioscience and Health Policy and a BA in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and Policy Studies.
Experience
I have tutored for the past 12 years in all subjects for middle and high school as well as college students. I specialize in math and science, but I have tutored in almost every other subject, including English and History. I am very good with struggling students, and I enjoy seeing them succeed in school. I have a high success rate as well. All of my students have improved significantly in their classes. I excelled in middle and high school achieving a 4.17/4.00 GPA, so I know these subjects very well. I am also very good at the US college application process and can assist in that area. My SAT score was 2180/2400 and my ACT score was 34/36. I believe that tutoring should be more about teaching a student how to succeed rather than simply teaching them the material. In this case, students will learn their coursework but will also learn how to study on their own, which is the ultimate goal.

I have competitively swam for 11 years, so I know how hard it is to be student-athlete. I can give pointers on time management to help juggle the time commitments whether it be sports or music, or any other extra-curricular activity. I was and am still actively involved in many school clubs.
