Hobbies

I believe to be a well-rounded musician, and indeed a proper man or woman in general (let's face it, not all who study music would become professional musicians), one should not limit one's vision within just a subject of knowledge. Rather, because the world is connected in various ways and on numerous levels, in the end, the process of studying music would also enable one to get to better understand our own culture, and even the world at large. Indeed, apart from what I am professionally trained in, I'm also a keen thinker about philosophies, aesthetics, art history, etc., and how all these relate to our contemporary world. This is a way to become more knowledgeable about the world we currently live in, and is surely too a way to become a more informed and creative person.
