I am a passionate educator fascinated by Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. I received a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and obtained outstanding GCSE and A-level grades. I am therefore able to pass on expert knowledge to my students. Over the past six years, I have taught both in schools and privately, in person and online, accumulating thousands of hours of experience. My aim has always been to build strong, supportive, long-term relationships with my students to ensure they achieve their goals. My greatest strength is instilling enthusiasm for learning into my students. My specialist skills are identifying gaps in students’ knowledge and breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible explanations. This helps students develop genuine understanding and take ownership of their learning, rather than relying solely on memorisation. My teaching style blends each student’s preferred way of learning with my own unique methods, which stem from my engineering background. I can translate theory into practice and use real-life examples to make concepts tangible and understandable to students. My lessons can be flexible or follow a structured plan — whichever benefits the student most. I am a very adaptable tutor, and if a student learns best in a particular way, I tailor my teaching accordingly. For example, for visual learners, I incorporate specifically-designed diagrams, graphs, and schematics — whenever suitable — into my lessons. Also, I usually assign homework after lessons to help students consolidate their knowledge. With regard to curricula and examination material, I am highly familiar with the syllabi of almost all examination boards as well as what examiners look for. This allows me to give my students an edge over standard exam preparation, so that they get the most out of exams. My output as an educator has been wonderful. I have helped more than a hundred students build confidence in their subjects, deepen their understanding, and achieve excellent grades. To mention only a few of my success stories are a Maths GCSE student who improved from a grade 4 to a grade 8, and a Maths A-level student who progressed from B/C to A/A*, both within the course of a single academic year.
