I've earned three graduate degrees in the field of scientific and medical translation, education, and environmental studies. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. I have fully qualified as a secondary teacher.
Experience
I have extensive experience working as a tutor for major institutions in London such as Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Alexander McQueen, and Stella McCartney as well as for several banks and legal firms. I have additionally taught in secondary schools both in England and in Melbourne. I have a unique approach to language teaching and fully exploit my knowledge of controlled structures. This allows the student to have a gradual approach to the language and use each element much as a building block. I think of it as sort of a language version of a building block set where each block can be reused and personalized. I do not believe language should be just passively absorbed but should be utilized creatively.
