Education

In final year of BA (Hons) Journalism degree at Kingston University, London

Experience

A-levels: English - B, French - B, Geography - B As-level: Biology - B GCSEs: English language - A*, English Literature - A*, French - A*, Religious Education - A*, Maths - A, Geography - A, Biology - B, Physics - B, Chemistry - C, Additional Maths - C 2000 - Tutored English to primary school children in France over a two-week period. I returned to France in January this year and lived there until August. I have, therefore, developed a reasonable level of fluency. As a journalism student (specialising in print journalism), I have an extremely high standard of written English. As an older sister of a 12-year-old boy, I realise that despite a young person's ability to succeed academically, sometimes that person requires some encouragement. It would please me and provide real job satisfaction if I was able to improve a young person's chance of exam success as well as playing the role of a mentor due to being slightly younger (and hopefully easier to relate to) than an older school teacher.
